As a society, people often treat each other as objects and opportunities rather than as human beings worthy of dignity and respect. It takes self-awareness to recognize that we have personal power to control our actions and reactions to people and situations.
In the presentation, we will cover the following:
Understanding the definition of workplace and college campus bullying, along with the sign of being bullied and ways to differentiate between bullying and harassment. You will learn about 5 recognized categories of workplace violence and the cost of supporting that workplace violence or bullying in the workplace and on college campuses. There will be discussion surrounding best practices to use when counseling those who are the target of bullying and learn at least 5 methods or ways to incorporate civility (and anti-bullying) into your place of employ or college campus.
