Why choose virtual counseling/coaching? by Camilla Bravo

So why choose virtual counseling and/or coaching?

Convenience

Often, many people decide not to take part in helping themselves because it might take longer to get to the counselor or coach’s office than the actual session itself. And many people enjoy their privacy. Virtual counseling/coaching saves time – and time is money!

You can also participate in the comfort of your home – and even your car, if you choose. This frees up not only time (for instance, you might be able to attend a virtual session while on your lunch break), but it allows for anyone who may not be able to physically get to the counselor/coach’s office to receive the help they need.

Tested

Distance counseling and coaching has been around for quite some time. One down side is that many insurance companies will not pay for the services. The positive side is that research shows that distance (or virtual) counseling/coaching is, in many situations, just as effective as face-to-face.

Privacy

Some simply find it easier to discuss difficult events virtually, rather than sitting in an office, even if the office is warm and inviting.

The focus of counseling and/or coaching is to reach a positive solution to a person’s problem, issue, concern or dilemma. Whether you prefer to be in an office, or would rather go virtual, getting help is the next step. Don’t be afraid – you can do it – and we can help you.
